Orchard modifications – stabilization of the Loket slope

The motive of orchard designs is to significantly increase biological activity or biodiversity in a given place and at the same time to combine architectural, hygienic, horticultural, ecological, aesthetic and operational aspects with the set mode of public space. The proposed garden modifications are based on the character of the location and take into account and draw attention to the historical context of the place. In addition to the significant strengthening of the biological potential of the given space, based on the historical setting, the prepared ideological content will complement the purpose that the given public space will fulfill. The proposed solution is based on the requirements to reduce the aesthetically disturbing effect of protective nets that will be placed in the location. Plantings will also be beneficial for improving the quality of the place and will have an effect on changing the behavior of visitors here. The cycle path line with fast movement of people will partially become a quieter place with the possibility and reason to stop. The shape of the treated area is an elongated line divided into two sections, one short attached directly to the foot of the bridge pillar. The second section is the main part of the whole proposal. In the plan view, it expands in the eastern direction and levels off at the end of the line, where it ends with a staircase structure. The description of the proposed park improvements begins at the bridge pillar at the western end of the area being addressed and ends at the staircase.
